Slussz Kulcs Klán
(Car Key Clan)
graphic novel

Slussz Kulcs Klán (Car Key Clan) is a 180-page graphic novel which was both written and drawn by me. The story takes place in Oil City, somewhere in the desert, and it tells the story of a bunch of men who have grown together with their cars. Other characters include a Saxophonist, a Waitress, a Car Mechanic and a one-handed Gas Jockey. Published in 2012 by Libri Kiadó, the book was awarded Graphic Novel of the Year in 2013, and it also received the AlfaBéta Prize of the Hungarian Comics Association.

Tex&Mex

My comic strip series Tex&Mex was published in the Exit program magazine for two years on a weekly basis. I made close to 100 episodes about Tex, the rockabilly-looking hero, and his arm tattoo and best friend Mex.

Úton Rejtő Jenővel

(On the Road with Jenő Rejtő)

Graphic novel project

Reading Jenő Rejtő’s travel diary in which he recounts his adventures as a young man travelling in Europe and even beyond, I thought that this book evidently offers itself for comics adaptation. It is a rich an exciting account, which allows us to get to know more intimately the iconic pulp fiction author: his philosophy of life, his manifold experiences during his journey, as well as the archetypes of his unforgettable heroes.

This story can be elaborated either in the form of a complete graphic novel, or in comics sequels.

Currently, I am looking for sponsors to be able to carry out my project.

Comics for TASZ

”Comics On Your Rights” are informative brochures primarily targeted at underprivileged people and groups, which I made for the Társaság a Szabadságjogokért (TASZ; Hungarian Civil Liberties Union) human rights organization.

This gallery contains two such publications: one gives information on citizens’ rights in criminal cases, and the other on patients’ rights in health care.

Poetry & Comics

In this experimantal project I have illustrated my own poems in the style of comics. One day I would like to publish my ’comics poems’ in a book form.
